Merry Christmas


Christmas is the festival celebrated in India and all over the world as day remembering it as birthday of Jesus Christ celebrated on 25th December every ear. The celebration of Christmas festival starts in the month of 1st December praying Jesus. The Christmas festival is celebrated along with New Year having prayers, parties, carols in the streets, playing drums and get cheering up with full of energy and activeness in the Christmas celebrations. Shopping such as Christmas trees, Santa Claus dress, cakes and other gifts is done before 10-20 days on commencement of the Christmas festival. 

                                               Santa Claus reaches every house giving gifts and toys for children showing the attraction of the festival. Churches as a sign of Christian temple constructed all over the world. Mainly in Kerala and other states the festival is celebrated with prayers, drums and carols. The Star-shaped paper lamps having various sizes and Christmas trees are placed in-front of the houses as a sign of the festival.

Bathukamma


Bathukamma a festival celebrated by people in telangana region from many years.Bathukamma is celebrated in the period of spring season where seasonal flowers with deep blossoms are obtained. Goddess Sati is prayed on the day of Bathukamma.Batukamma is a beautiful festival made with seasonal flowers that are obtained in the spring season arranged in the form of a cone.
       
Bathukamma - bathuku means life, amma means mother hence bathukamma is celebrated to Godess Gauri with a prayer. A festival atmosphere is created in large grounds and in gardens with Hundreds of women takes participation in this festival singing songs and dance placing flower stack in a circle. Chidren also participate in the Bathukamma making lot’s of fun and creating a beautiful environment. This festival is celebrated by people living in USA also.


Diwali


India is pre-dominant place to Hindu living in the country with many festivals that are celebrated different seasons.Diwali is Hindu festival celebrated with peace, joy, and prosperity known as ‘the festival of lights’ or ‘Deepawali’. The festival of lights celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, Good over Evil, Enlightenment over Ignorance. Diwali festival is celebrated in the month of Oct - Nov.Diwali is celebrated for killing evil Ravana in the hands of Lord Rama. Goddess Lakshmi is prayed on the day of diwali to get prosperity, wealth and happiness in the family.
                         Diwali is a national level festival celebrated by everyone with fire crackers and beautiful lanterns placed on either side of door steps at entrance of house illuminate lights. Especially Diwali is celebrated with children’s and youngsters show their enthusiasm toward blasting firecrackers.Diwali is celebrated for one or two days as their interest and indulge activity in shopping of new clothes, vehicle pooja and other needs for home décor. The Diwali is now celebrated in different countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Europe, USA, UK and in many other countries.
